OnePlus 8 5G LTE has a dimension of 160.2 x 72.9 x 8 mm. It weighs about 180 grams with the aluminum frame. The phone has Gorilla Glass on the front and the back. The device is IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 2m for 30 mins)- Verizon and T-Mobile only.
The display system has a 6.55 inches Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which supports 16 M color depth. You can almost not feel the bezels with an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio. OnePlus 8 5G has a triple-camera system that includes 48 MP wide and 16 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP macro cameras. You can shoot up to 2160P videos up to 60 fps with the rear camera system. The videos will not get Stereo support in the sound records. You also get a 16 MP front camera with auto-HDR support. The camera can shoot up to 1080p videos at 30 fps with gyro-EIS support.

OnePlus 8 5G has a Non-removable Li-Ion 4300 mAh battery. The battery system supports Fast battery charging 30W. You can charge your phone up to 50% in 30 min.
There are loudspeakers on the phone that have stereo support. You get high-quality sound output but do not get a 3.5 mm jack port for external sound devices.
