Realme Announces The Realme Pad Feature AMOLED Display

Realme and Xiaomi are the two Chinese based tech companies that are going head-to-head in terms of mobile manufacturing and unveiling innovative tech inventions such that these are considered to be rivals to brands such as Samsung, OPPO and Huawei in mid-range segment. Recently Xiaomi overtook Samsung for No.1 spot in Q2 of 2021 for most units shipped. On the other hand, Realme took the world by storm by presenting the first Android magnetic charger known as ‘MagDart’.

In a recent event by Realme where we get to see the unfolding of the ‘MagDart’ and Realme Book i.e, first ever laptop by the company, we also get to know that the Realme is planning to launch the upcoming series of the Tablets. The very first entry in the tablet series is going to be the Realme Pad which according to the company is going to be the direct rival to Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, which was launched in August and was an instant hit, selling 200,000 units in just 5 minutes. It is going to be a great competition with an option for the consumer to choose between two different Pad variants.

This isn’t the first time the news regarding the Realme Pad came into spotlight. Last week, the company got the certificate for the Realme Pad and was officially announced during their launch event. Although there isn’t much detail about the tab except that it will be featuring an AMOLED screen as said in a tweet by the CMO of the company this gives it an edge over the Xiaomi Mi 5 Pad. According to some leaks and rumors we get to know that the Tab will be featuring a 14.0 inch display that too powered by AMOLED technology. Moving to other internals the leaks suggest that the base variant of the tab will come in 6GB Ram and 64 GB storage space. The battery department would satisfy the daily usage of the normal user coming in at 7100mAh battery capacity.

According to other reports, the Realme Pad may come in 6GB Ram and 128 GB storage and 8 GB 256 GB storage options. We can also expect WIFI and WIFI+LTE variants as well but these are just wild guesses and we have to wait for the official announcement and specs release from the company. The Realme Pad is expected to come with 8MP camera setup for both front and rear end and will run on Android 11 with Realme skin 2.0 as its interface.

Previously leaked suggest us that the Realme Tab will feature two speakers and power button on one side, while on the other side USB Type-C port and two more speakers will be located. The Realme Tab is also supposed to offer Stylus support. The company is tipped to launch the Realme Tab in Gold and Grey color options with an aluminum uni body finish.

We are all very excited to see what does the company have to offer and are waiting anxiously for further leaks and official status of the Realme Pad.
