Huawei Mate 9 64GB ROM 4GB RAM (Refurbished – Excellent)
The Huawei Mate 9 is an impressive Android smartphone with a large screen. The device was officially presented on November 3, 2016 during an event in Munich, and is Huawei’s second flagship for this year. The manufacturer previously released the Huawei P9, a slim smartphone with a dual camera lens. The Huawei Mate 9 also has such an extra camera, but also manages to offer a larger screen and some other extra features. Smartphones in the Mate series often have particularly large screens. That makes them very suitable for games, movies and other media. The successor to the Mate 8 is also nice and hefty. With a 5.9-inch screen, it is one of the largest smartphones to be released in 2016. An additional advantage is that there is also a lot of space for the 4000 mAh battery: the Mate 9 lasts for two full days without recharging.

More about the Huawei Mate 9
An important feature of the Huawei Mate 9 is the dual camera. As with the P9, Huawei is teaming up with Leica again, resulting in a regular 12-megapixel camera and a 20-megapixel camera for monochrome photos. The images from the two cameras are combined to provide extra sharpness. That would help especially in low-light situations. Of course there is also a front camera; it takes selfies in 8 megapixels. As you would expect from the Huawei Mate 9, the device is equipped with a large battery. The battery capacity is 4000 mAh, with which the device should last about two days on a full charge. New is SuperCharge, a technology with which the Mate 9 can charge quickly. According to Huawei, the smartphone is about half full in twenty. It is completely full in an hour and a half. The Huawei Mate 9 is one of the first smartphones to run on Android 7.0 as standard . Huawei has put the new EMUI 5.0 shell on Android. It is simpler and more intuitive than previous versions, although the adjustments that Huawei makes are still quite drastic. This is how things are visually adjusted, so that little of stock Android remains. It is useful that EMUI 5.0 learns from the user and, among other things, adjusts the memory consumption of the Mate 9 based on the apps that are often used. Also new is the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9, a more premium variant of the device. This version has a smaller 5.5-inch screen, which does have an AMOLED display and curved screen edges. Unfortunately, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 will not appear in the Benelux.
