2021 has been a great showcasing year for Samsung who went on to introduce different devices for every segment ranging from high-end foldable like Z fold and Flip 3 to the mid-range devices like Samsung A02. The Samsung also unveiled its Galaxy smart watch 4. Samsung has pretty much control over the smartphone industry and recently, it has launched another mid-range segment smartphone, the all new Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G.
The Samsung A52s enable everyone to enjoy enriched gaming experience as it features an upgraded processor and chipset coupled with the 5G support. A52s follows its predecessor Galaxy A52 with some minor updates and if the high-end foldables isn’t your go-to thing, try the new A52s.
We all can agree that the Samsung Galaxy A52 was quite underpowered with Snapdragon 7225 chipset. On the other hand, Galaxy A52s has got a major upgrade coming at 6nm Snapdragon 778G where the tag ‘G’ stands for an optimized gaming experience and a smooth processor performance. Storage option stands at 6GB Ram and 128 GB storage capacity in base variant while other variants include 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage which can be enhanced via micro SD card. Galaxy A52s runs on Android 11 with the One UI 3.1.1. The display size is same as A52 with a 6.5 inch super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 resolutions and 20:9 aspect ratios. The display features a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth user interface.
The camera department of A52s is also similar to that of A52. Galaxy A52s comes with 32MP front camera which helps to capture crisp selfies to capture the good times. The back consists of four different camera setup. The main camera stands at 64MP setup. Apart from this we have a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro and a 5MP in-depth camera sensor. The main highlight is the image stabilization by detecting the shaking of the lens and provide you with blur free image, a mechanism that Samsung calls ‘Gyro-EIS’.
The battery offered is similar to A52 as well and is packed with a decent Li-Po 4500mAh battery size and it supports 25W fast charging as well. Other highlights of the device include an IP67 water resistance that is enough to survive underwater for 30 minutes at a depth of meter. It comes in different colors like Awesome Black, White, Purple and Mint. The build quality is very decent and not like other mid-rangers as Samsung focuses on its design quality no matter how less you spend.
The device was launched on 17th August and would be ready for shipment from 7th September. However, pre-orders are currently active on the official website of Samsung. The price of A52s base variant is approximately 655 AUD. We will be looking forward for the performance A52s has to offer.
