This year, the smartphone industry saw another boom in terms of mobiles as well as other accessories. Every company went to introduce their top notch idea, innovative breakthroughs in technology along with various flagship devices as well. Not only we saw high end devices but manufacturers also introduced entry lever and mid-range segment devices too. Earlier this year, Samsung launched its Galaxy M32 globally which was a budget series device and had Helio G80 processor. The phone was quite decent and yesterday, Samsung announced the updated version M32 with 5G support. The features are upgraded and so is the style. Samsung is known to keep the design and build of every segment device top notch. Let’s have a look at the feature and specs sheet for the new Galaxy M32 5G.
Under the hood, Galaxy M32 5G is an upgraded variant as compared to its counterpart in terms of specifications and design. It features a 6.5 inches LCD display. It offers a 720×1600 pixel resolution with ~270 ppi density and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Moving to the software side, Galaxy M32 comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 720G rather than snapdragon support. The CPU cores clock at Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Kryo 560 Silver) with Mali G-57 GPU. It runs on the Android 11 with one UI 3.1 and will get security patches and OS updates for Android 12. The device comes in two variants, a 6/128 GB storage and another at 8/128 GB storage with a micro SD slot to increase the storage up to 1TB. For security concerned folks, you get Samsung’s Knox Security suite and the Alt Z mode. It allows you to quickly switch between main and private mode by double-pressing the side button.
The camera setup is typical that of the budget-range segment Samsung offers. Galaxy M32 features an 13 megapixel front camera which shoots the video at 1080p@30 fps. The quad camera setup at back consists of a 48 megapixel main camera, an 8 MP ultra wide lens with 2x optical zoom, a 5 MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It comes with a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The device does have an IP68 dust and water-resistant.
The phone was announced yesterday and will be available for sale worldwide from 2nd September globally. The price is not official at but it is expected to be around $280 or 380 AUD for the 6/128GB variant and 420 AUD for the 8/128GB variant. We already experienced M32 performance wise and it was good gig and we expect similar and upgraded performance from it as well.
